Living in Leicester city centre has been great - everything is within walking distance, shops, restaurants and gyms are close by. Transport links are good. The area feels lively but safe, with plenty of things to do. It’s been really convenient for work and social life, and I’ve had no complaints.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been responsive and helpful. Most issues are sorted quickly, and communication is usually clear and professional.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How good the soundproofing is - it’s something you can’t really tell from a viewing. I’ve heard from friends in other blocks that their walls are paper thin, but here it’s been surprisingly quiet. Definitely something I appreciate!

The area is quite nice, all transports links are quite good and minimal antisocial behaviour, definitely recommend!

They’ve responded quickly to all problems I’ve had so far

More about billing, there wasn’t much of a de brief on that side

The flat is modern, clean, and well-designed – a really comfortable space that instantly felt like home. It’s bright and airy with a good layout, quality finishes, and all the essential amenities. The building itself is secure, well-maintained, and quiet, which makes a big difference day-to-day. The location is another highlight – close to public transport, shops, and cafes, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. It strikes a great balance between convenience and comfort.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
After I moved in, they followed up to make sure everything was in order and handled minor requests efficiently. It’s rare to find such attentive service, and I really appreciated their support.

I've really enjoyed living at the Saxons —being right in the centre is incredibly convenient. Everything you need is just a short walk away: great local shops, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants, all within easy reach. The transport links are also excellent, with bus stops and train stations nearby, making commuting or getting around the city very simple. Parking is available, which is a huge plus for such a central location. Occasionally, a few people take chances with parking in your spot, but in my experience, the landlord is always quick to resolve the issue, which I really appreciate. As you'd expect from being in the heart of the city, there's some general background noise, but nothing too disruptive—it’s a fair trade-off for the convenience of living centrally. Overall, it’s a great place to live if you're looking for city-centre convenience with good amenities and a responsive landlord.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been excellent whenever any issues have come up. They respond promptly, communicate clearly, and always make sure problems are resolved quickly and efficiently. Whether it’s a maintenance request or a question about shared facilities, they’re professional and helpful, which really adds to the peace of mind of living here.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that, because it’s in the city centre, there can be occasional background noise—especially during weekends or busy evenings. It’s not too disruptive, but something to be aware of if you’re very sensitive to sound. That said, the convenience of the location more than makes up for it.

Sometimes during the weekends it gets noisy outside, but other than that everything is beautiful in living and staying with The Saxons.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management is very nice, cooperative and always available.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The bad thing is that the furniture is high and so is the rent, but the rest is very nice.
