Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good aspects about living here is that the transport links are very good and there’s buses just on the main road and come very often. The negative aspect is that recently there’s been an increase in antisocial behaviour in the area but the building is safe and there are gates now everywhere.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Everything was dealt with in excellent approach and I have not a single complaint. They are helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that is was very diverse and accepting and we have neighbours with children and pets and everyone is welcome. So it is a safe environment for everyone.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is actually great, the building is next to the station and not far from the underground, there are two pubs 2 mins away from the building and a large Sainsbury's round the corner, plenty of small shops for all your needs, a post office, dry cleaners, fish and chips, gym, everything you would need. Bin collection isn't really ab issue the building deals with it, we did have an issue when we first moved in with people just dumping rubbish into the bins area, but Heimstadden have really tried to put in place measures to stop that and fly tipping with a new automatic gate and an array of signs. Parking is fine, I don't have a car but when I am driving for whatever reason there's spaces all over. Not too much anti social behaviour, it's mostly just young people hanging out around the corner shops but they don't actually cause any hassle, could be intimidating if you were younger and alone

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes but it does sometimes take a while for things to be done, we have complained about the loss of parcels

We wished we knew that the security would have stayed after moving in

Great location - next to station and high street. However there is now no parking availability meaning that I have to park at some distance away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been very quick at responding to all of the issues I’ve raised.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is no parking available. Also the flag was not thoroughly cleaned despite it being cleaned twice. I could not move in and had to do the 400 mile trip again.

The location of the flats is in a convenient area as it’s located in close proximity to Brentwood train station. However the only problem is the traffic can get quite noisy as it’s located on a main road. I don’t hear too much noise however coming from the trains. In terms of local shops, restaurants…etc, it’s okay and its not too far from the main high street. However as Brentwood is a relatively small town there’s not too many options.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have only had one issue with my dishwasher not working due to poor installation when I moved in. This was responded to quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The main thing I wish I knew was how hot the flat could get making it uncomfortable to live in for a proportion of the year. The other thing is the noise and pollution coming from the traffic on the main road, which is worse when windows are opened.

Well it’s too nearby to the station and all local shops and quite happening! The insides are clean and well maintained. Cons:traffic noise

Quite quick resolution. Whenever we raise a complaint it’s taken care of within 1-2 days mostly.

I wish I could have found it earlier. It’s perfect
