Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good thing about living in this area is the amount of green and trees around us. The negative is the parked cars when getting into the estate and how busy it gets. There should be a crossing or speed bumps. Also some of the streets on the estate are littered with rubbish from house owners and dog Faeces on the pavements. I hope there will be dog poo bins on the estate!!!!!

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature is the brick build and old looking railings.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location for supermarkets and getting onto the a470 towards cardiff & m4. Love that there are a lot of lovely walks to excersise, take children or walk dogs. The estate is very peaceful majority of the time and all the neighbours are friendly. Pulling out of the estate can be hard due to the blind bend and other vehicles driving to fast Initially we had a lot of anti social behaviour by teenagers coming to the park where they did vandalise the park and was coming into the estate sitting on peoples gardens or purposely trying to run across the street. However since many reports to the police this has got better. In lockdown there was a lot of noise from the industrial estate but will require to assess in summer

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we had known that there was a phase 2 as we loved how small the estate was and how private it would be. However on asking we was told there wouldn’t be another phase but once moving in after a couple of months we found out that llanmoor were in the process of purchasing the field opposite.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love we have 3 car parking spaces and that our home is very open plan.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Positive: lovely quiet estate, good location to schools. Bins are Collected weekly. A great selection of house styles. Con: Parking is poor as residents are not using the allocated parking spots bought with their house and parking on the street. Currently, work is being carried out on site so a lot of dust and a lot of heavy vehicles. Hopefully this will pass.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had moved the radiator under the stairs to allow for extra storage.

What is the best feature of your home:

Our home has an amazing kitchen/ diner which is flooded with light from our south facing garden. Our garden is also an amazing size.

The local area is of a good quality, there are many small shops, takeaways and pubs a short walk away. The neighbouring town of Bargoed is a little further and this hosts the closest supermarket.

I wish that we had known the work it would take to create a useable garden.

What is the best feature of your home:

The quality of the build and attention to detail inside and outside.

We love Bedwas. It has the perfect balance between being quiet and feeling like we are isolated in the country to 5 minutes down the road having all the restaurants pubs cafe and shops that we could wish for

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the garden doesn’t come turfed. It is disheartening spending so much money and having the perfect house to look out at a pile of mud for a garden

What is the best feature of your home:

The storage & kitchen. The house is designed perfectly
