. Everything is walkable waiting for sainsbury to open downstairs. Close to Lidl and Neesa for groceries. Bus station 1 minute away
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Prompt response and follow ups . You’ll feel they’re doing their management part more than you would expect.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Close to city centre yet outside from hustle bustle. Once we have a grocery store in building it would be one overall experience place

I love living in the area, it is an amazing location, short walk into city centre, has swimming and other amenities close by. The only bad aspect of living in the area is the lack of parking availability however there is a carpark a short walk from the building that offers great prices
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues ive had the building management has always responded
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only thing i wish i had known was the council tax prices, i never factored that into my outgoings before moving in as excepted it to be cheaper, however this is something that was out of Platforms control as the building had just opened when i moved in

Location is good, not too far away from the city centre. Only thing that could be better is more stores close by, but that is set to change soon.

They listened a d did their best for the tennants.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
As the Platform development is in the Leith area of Edinburgh, there is an abundance of shops from the local convenience shops, to two Tesco superstores and a Lidl within a radius of a ten to fifteen minute walk. Leith Walk with plenty of bars, and restuarants again is a fifteen minute walk, and you are within a short walk to Pilrig and St. Marks park. Should you wish to travel further afield, the local excellent bus service will take you into the centre of Edinburgh in ten minutes. The Plafrom development has been built in a quiet residential area, with no anti-social behaviour or traffic noise, so if it is a riotous neighbourhood you wish to live in, Platform is not for you.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
In regard to any issues that I have had with my flat, the maintenance team have resolved these very quickly and interactions with the team; Matt and Arek, have been nothing but professional and their knowledge of the property and services in the apartment is first class.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
After sixteen years, unfortunatley I had to move from my previous flat. I viewed various developments and properties around Edinburgh. My main reason for choosing Platform, was that the agent who showed me around; Jay. His friendly nature, professionalism, and in depth knowldge of any questions that I had were easily answered.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We love the quietness of the place. The traffic is not too crowded either. The shops are in a good walking distance not too far. There are Lidl, Tescos, Asda available for daily shopping within about 15-20 mins walk. A small convenience store is about 2 mins walk away. The buses run here quite frequently and the tram is not far either. There is a park nearby with a playground, which is good for families. The area is kept clean and tidy also safe.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team is very approachable and wants their residents to feel really at ease and home. They are effectively dealing with issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It was really good to have the concierge trolleys available when moving. It did make our moving easier and quicker. We suggest using them, they are really helpful. We wish there are more parking spaces on the street, they starting to fill up quickly. There are restrictions on the windows, it just would be nice to have them open a bit wider sometimes even for cleaning. But we understand it is a legal requirement to keep them at a certain width.
