Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve lived in Shadwell for four years before buying a property here. It’s one of my favorite places in London. Walking distance to Brick Lane / Shoreditch / major parks. Right next to the DLR which is one stop into Bank. Now we have the Elizabeth line in Whitechapel that’s a few stops to Paddington. It’s more famous for its pubs than its clubs (like the George Tavern), and there’s no shortage of restaurants. Especially Indian restaurants like Tayyabs which is just around the corner and does the best lamb chops in London - FACT. The development doesn’t have parking - but there are plenty of paid-for spots outside. In the four years, I’ve lived here I haven’t experienced any anti-social behavior. The community is pretty tight-knit. The development is off the main road and completely soundproofed - so zero traffic noise. No downsides.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

See review above. Every request had been addressed within 24 hours - sometimes sooner. Brilliant aftercare support.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd done more viewings as the development was constructed. Just so I had a better understanding of how it's built and where specific utilities were plumped in.

What is the best feature of your home:

The fact it came pre-installed with modern appliances with brand new warranties and support. Everything just works. I looked at lots of pre-owned properties before buying a new build - and I'm very glad I chose the latter.
