There is a good range of restaurants in the Camberwell area. More coffee shops and pubs close to Burgess Park would be good

MVHR was starting to fail - these were too old, meaning expensive to replace

What is the best feature of your home:

Layout rather than it being just a rectangle, it is better than most

Great neighborhood and area! Lots of fab pubs and local business, with some really high quality ones opening recently (Forza Win, Veraison, Gladwells, Toad bakery etc). Green spaces surrounding the area really makes Camberwell fields stand out!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Luckily didn't have any snags but what we have had, the Comms is good but sometimes slow to resolve depending on the issue.

Tennis court cafe does the best toasties, took me too long to realise

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area has improved drastically over the last few years. Since 2022 alone we have had a new amazing deli and grocers (gladwells) and wine bar (Veraison wines) join the local high Street. There is everything you could possibly need in this community, from great outdoor green spaces, to independent coffee shops and restaurants and some great local community initiatives, for example Jazz at the Crypt and Organoke at St Giles church. Towards elephant and castle, there has been lots of improvement. It's such a diverse community with many Latin American, Asian and African shops and businesses, to name but a few.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Never had issues. When the EWS1 thing was happening a couple years back they sprung into action and delivered our EWS1 forms promptly considering the influx in requests.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It took me a while to discover Brunswick park - only a 7 min walk away it's a little peaceful oasis and some great coffee and cakes at Bower hut.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely area with lots of green spaces, really nice neighbours and community feel which is so rare for London. Cons are no train or tube station but bus routes are plentiful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Slow sometimes but gets things done eventually....

A few issues with post ending up in the wrong building and some post thefts across the development

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The perks of the area is that it is community orientated. The presence of new people in the area doesnt make the tenant happy.
