Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located right in the Glasgow city centre, Candleriggs is close to multiple train stations, shopping malls and grocery stores. It's also very close to the Glasgow Green, which is absolutely my hidden gem about the city. Glasgow city centre could be quite noisy over weekends, but luckily we have sound proof windows to ensure tranquil nights.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team always respond promptly to my maintenance request.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The utilities - heating utilities with homebox is a bit confusing. I'm still waiting for their final bill for my previous flat to receive my deposit.

For convenience you cannot beat this location, it's in the middle of an exciting city. The main station in Glasgow is 12 min walk away, argyle street and at Enoch tube are 5 min. It's not too noisy on the 7th floor facing Trongate because of good sound insulation. There is some anti social behaviour in any central city but much safer than London for phone snatching. Surrounded by restaurants and on the main street for shops

Yes though it did take a nudge from Laurie to get a reply to my emails. All good now

The flat is so warm you don't need to switch on the heating

The location of the property is amazing, however because of such an amazing location, there is no affordable parking nearby. The restaurants and stores around are amazing and full of diversity, would definitely recommend. The public transport is nearby and and it is very close to the university and many organisations.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven’t had any problems that needed attention so NA

Living in this area has been a fantastic experience overall. The local shops, restaurants, and bars are of excellent quality, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes and needs. The transport links are highly convenient, with frequent buses, trains, and good road access making it easy to get around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always responded promptly and professionally to any issues I’ve raised, ensuring quick resolutions and clear communication throughout.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how well the building management handles maintenance requests and keeps communal areas in top condition—it’s been a pleasant surprise! I’d also recommend new neighbours explore the nearby parks and local shops early on—they’re fantastic.

Fantastic location. Easy to get to the centre with ease. I feel for the homeless living around here. I guess drugs and stuff.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Anything I would mention. The staff are right on it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How warm it is. That’s my only issue. The flat is so well insulated it can be a bit over heated at times. But the positive is you don’t need to turn on the heating. ?
