Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s very well located, close to schools, train station, high street etc. Very green and Leafy. Loads of playgrounds and places for kids to go.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Majority issues raised were resolved. Albeit at times it requires a bit of chasing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It’s a hidden gem walking distance to all key amenities.

Cane Hill Park, great commuter location and close to city and countryside

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Cane hill park is close to two railway stations and makes it easy to get into central London, there is a small high street which plenty of supermarkets, coffee shops and a few lovely restaurants too. The development has lots of open spaces and is great for young families and dog owners. It’s quite peaceful as it’s set up on a hill and not too much traffic. The houses are relatively well spaced out and there is minimal anti-social behaviour

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management company allow you to log issues however I feel that sometimes they just sign the job off as complete even though they haven’t been actioned

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have asked a snagging company to detect all snags as we have issues with things such as poor top soil quality which we didn’t think of checking ourselves

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Cane hill park is in a great location for commuting into the city as well as being close to the countryside for family activities. The town is small but has most of the amenities you would require, there are also lots of excellent schools nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes the customer services do respond and action issues when raised, maybe this can be more promptly but at least it is dealt with

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have got a professional snag company to detect all the snags as there were things such as soil quality which we didn’t think of

I love living on this development. It’s is one big community with a variety of social media apps keeping us all connected. I love the fact we have so much greenery and woodland trails on the development and how quiet it is when all the hustle and bustle is only minutes away.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Cane Hill Park is nestled aware right in the heart of Coulsdon Surrey. There is a local high street within a two minute drive from the development. The high street has a full range of eateries and also has a Waitrose, Aldi, Tesco Express and Boots. There are a couple of bank and local small business stores. Transport links are fantastic with two stations both with links to London and from Coulsdon South you can get to the Costa Del Brighton. Barratts and David Wilson have created a variety of different home designs and it’s nice to be on a development like this.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

In all honestly I have been very fortunate and had a very pleasant home buying journey from start to finish

What is the best feature of your home:

I love that it has been designed over 3 floors giving my family space and the homes are a generous size. I also enjoy overlooking a green open space in a small cul de sac

The design of the houses are fine but the use of materials are pretty poor, you’d expect the plaster board to be of good quality but it’s extremely poor.
