Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great - railway station within 10 minutes, decent pubs and restaurants in walking distance.Nice area

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Prompt and courteous, always respond with a phone call and an email

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not much to share here really, there’s no lift but the stairs aren’t too much trouble but moving in/out is a bit more of a challenge if you’re on the top floor

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A high residential area with a good mix of old and new properties. A range of schools for different ages with excellent transport links, bus and train connections. A small friendly village with a good mix of shops for everyday needs. Pubs, restaurants and coffee shops to hand. Open countryside with nice walks within a short distance.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response time to queries was good, with a quick turnaround.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known just how much the lack of car parking space would impact the overall area.

The layout of the development is good but the roads are very narrow.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location for Shopping , motorway systems, village centre 5 min walk as well as train station with parking . Schools with good ratings

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is a large tree on a green at the rear of property which gives large amounts shade early evening which I would sooner not have .

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I would have liked a side door in garage instead of having to lift open the main door everytime. I would have preferred a real chimney not a false one .

Copt Oak Estate, Narborough

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Pros: Built on a former parkland, a large number of the original trees were retained on the estate, making it feel much older than a regular "new build" estate. The trees also shield the houses from neighbouring developments, and make for a pleasant school walk each morning. A children's play park was installed on the estate, which has been great for our young ones. Two good schools within close walking distance, around 10 minutes to the station, local shops and takeaways within walking distance. Narborough is a very pleasant village. Cons: Narrow estate roads are now congested with parked cars, particularly as some have converted "car ports" into extensions. Estate is on a hill, but little was done to ensure adequate drainage of gardens. A few smaller terraced houses have nowhere to hide bins.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we'd known about proximity to local nature trail, Whistle Way - excellent route no matter the weather. Cycling to Leicester along the Great Central Way is also great (about 6 miles to the city centre). Fosse Park is a short drive away for shopping.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

More storage built into the house from the outset, and more attempt to level surrounding ground rather than have everything on a slope
