Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great local shops and close to city shopping centre Arndale (10 mins walk). Close to Manchester stations and bus services. Parking is expensive and limited but this is expected for city centre. Bin rooms do need work as they get dirty and rubbish left.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not applicable - there has been no problems or issues raised

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

None - all information was provided upon viewing the apartment

Lovely space to call home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The facilities such as the gym and the working from home spaces are brilliant. When we first moved in we made good use of the dining suites, but we need to be more organised and book in advance nowadays. A lovely space to call home. Some of the bad aspects are sadly caused by residents (blocked bin chutes, messy gym, music til early hours).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues have always been depart with in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we knew about the under shelf lighting in the bathroom…only just figured this out!

What a year at Cortland at Colliers Yard

Callum (Tenant)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this building offers a prime location with a great range of local shops, restaurants, and bars throughout Manchester. Manchester Victoria station is just a 5-minute walk away, providing excellent transport links across the city and beyond. Parking is convenient, with several car parks available nearby. However, noise from the opposite Cortland building can be disruptive throughout the day, particularly on the Salford-facing side of the building. Despite this, the city-side apartments tend to be quieter and more peaceful, making it a well-rounded choice for urban living.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has always responded to any issues I’ve raised within 24 hours. They are very fast, efficient, and professional in addressing problems, ensuring that any maintenance or concerns are resolved promptly. Their quick response makes living here stress-free.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known how noisy the Salford-facing side can be due to the nearby Cortland building. City-facing apartments are quieter. Also, property management can be slow to respond, but the facilities and building management are excellent overall.

Don’t ever want to leave

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of this apartment building is amazing. It’s barley a 5 minute walk to Manchester high streets and Manchester Victoria station. There is plenty of paid parking options nearby and even some over night free parking options providing it’s between 8-8. The only complaint would be noise of nearby building works which makes it hard to have doors/windows open.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always reply promptly and with great attention to detail, couldn’t complain or expect better

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Only thing notable is rent increase percentages can make it unaffordable for future years
