Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is very close to several major transport lines - bus, dlr, tube and Elizabeth line. Canary Wharf is 30 mins walk and if undergoing further development. The area is now host to a large amount of amenities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded in a reasonable time frame when I have reached out.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would of liked to be informed what further developments were planned to be built in the surrounding area.

Great design. Terrible execution. (Leaks and problems galore)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice and secluded spot with a giant Morrisons down the road and a sainsburys local a little bit closer. Full of construction at the moment so not too enjoyable walking on this side the island. It is near the airport and a motorway so if your windows are open it’s not too quiet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

My building manager will incredibly rudely try to blame me for structural issues that I couldn’t possibly have caused having just moved in months ago. One ballymore aftercare agent told a neighbour her ceiling leak “wasn’t that big a deal”. A light fixture shattered when changing a bulb and I was told it was my own fault.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly, this area is the windiest place I’ve ever lived in my entire life. It seems like an odd thing to end on but it is just SO incredibly windy that one can’t have basically any plants on the balcony or they get damaged badly by wind burning. I thought it would calm down in the summer but no. The location is just very very VERY windy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Goodluck Hope is very close to a range of transport links. It is also within walking distance of nearby express supermarkets.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded. However you often have to chase them via phone or email. But when they do respond, the required work is done quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The walls are thin in some areas. Neighbourly noise is not an issue but water running in pipes for other apartments is quite audible at times.

Mixed feelings - there are things that are fantastic and others which are awful

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: The market stalls that come once a month offers a wide range of different food options on our door step but it would be good if these happened more regularly There are two bars now which is great and there will be a further one soon with the brewery opening The transport links are really good as you have canning town underground, east India dlr and also buses in very close proximity and they are frequent The bins seem to be collected at a good enough frequency There is not much traffic noise where I live as there is only one road, but there is some noise with the building works but I imagine this won’t be for much longer Bad: There are barely any shops and of the few I wouldn’t use them There is only one supermarket in close proximity - a small sainsburys There are no restaurants - only a cafe Not many open spaces or ones of s good size

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very slow for every problem/issue raised. Some are still not rectified 6 months later. Much more improvement needed here

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Take your time with the viewing and properly check over every aspect of the flat for issues or defects. And try to get these rectified before moving in
