The building is amazing, with a design by interior designers that is modern, classy, and well-thought-out. The resident lounge is spacious and comfortable, as is the co-working space, which has a kitchen next to it. There are also four fantastic outdoor spaces. The onsite team is excellent too. Harry has all the answers and is always happy to help, while Yiannis can assist with achieving the decor you want in the apartment to feel at home. Every single person onsite is outstanding.

Living at Hove Gardens has been a mixed experience. On the positive side, the apartments themselves are modern, with decent-quality furniture and the inclusion of king-size beds is a welcome touch. The common areas, especially the shared working spaces, are well-designed and offer a pleasant environment. However, some communal areas, such as corridors and hallways, are often not well-maintained and can become quite dirty, which detracts from the overall appeal. A key issue throughout my time here has been the inconsistency and lack of reliability from the front-of-house/management team. While Becky on the front-of-house team has been consistently helpful and responsive, the same cannot be said for the rest of the staff. Requests often require repeated follow-ups, and commitments are frequently not followed through. For example, I had a maintenance issue that involved scheduling visits, and despite waiting in my apartment on three separate occasions, no one arrived as arranged. I received various excuses, but ultimately no resolution — an experience that reflects a broader pattern of unfulfilled promises and poor communication. Bills are managed by Homebox, and unfortunately, dealing with them has been similarly frustrating. Despite submitting a direct debit form upon moving in, I was later told it had not been received, resulting in me having to pay three months of backdated bills and submit all the meter readings manually. Additionally, although the apartment was marketed as brand new, it had several noticeable marks and stains upon arrival. One stain on the floor wasn’t addressed for two months, and closer inspection of the overall workmanship reveals a number of shortcuts and instances of poor finishing — suggesting that corners were cut during construction. Overall, while the apartment itself is decent and the location is good, the experience is undermined by poor management, lack of accountability, and a general sense of disorganisation. If these issues were addressed with more care and professionalism, Hove Gardens could offer a much more positive living experience. Another point of frustration has been the incentives offered. We were promised £800 towards a travel pass and £500 off as a welcome incentive. Six months later, neither has materialised, and when I inquired, the explanation for how to claim them was overly complicated and unclear. It seems these offers are not as straightforward or accessible as initially advertised.

I really like the design, the facilities, the building staff & how the property is managed. Before moving in, I was told some light bulbs needed replacing, I sent a maintenance request & they were replaced within that week, free of charge. I’ve had no issues with the development & have really enjoyed my time here so far.

Hove Gardens is a bright and modern complex, it has everything if your someone that either works remotely, hybrid and need access to a co-working space. The workspace is huge with every possible need being met, from soundproof work pods, open work stations, meeting areas, two big tv lounge areas with plenty of comfortable sofa spaces to work or relax. The interior design of the building has been well done, if you like a bright modern environment to live and work in then you'll love it here. There's concierge here 24hrs and they're great, really great not having to worry about post/parcel deliveries. There's a great mix of ages and we've found other residents to be very friendly, best of all they allow dogs/pets (some minor restrictions I believe), dogs even have their own shower room if they come home muddy ! Lots of dog treat jars all over the complex too! The management team here are honestly amazing! We needed to relocate at short notice and when I made an initial call to find out a bit more Dan answered all of my questions, he was incredibly patient with me on what was a fairly long call and I never felt hurried, or like I was being a nuisance. Dan arranged viewing's for us really quickly and as we were travelling down from London was very accommodating with timings etc. Dan met us at reception and it was clear that he had really listened to what we were looking for in the apartments that he showed us, they all had what we'd asked for, but he showed us different layouts, floor levels, views and outside space options. Dan has a warm, friendly personality and he delivered a very detailed, concise overview of life at Hove Gardens, he is obviously passionate about making sure people get a real understanding of what it's like to live here and it helped us to make a confident informed decsion. Dan's communications were very prompt and he worked against the clock for us and from viewing to moving in was 2wks ! It was a seamless and easy process and the best I have experienced in a 18yr history of being a private tenant. It's a skill to marry being friendly/personable yet remain professional but Dan has this down to a fine art. They say first impressions are key and Dan is proof of this, he actually played an huge part in our decision to live at Hove Gardens, I hope his employers appreciate him and he is rewarded for being a superb ambassador for their business. Becky was here to go through our check in for us and she was equally warm and welcoming, she went through everything with us and what we needed was ready when we arrived, Becky reassured us that she would be there till the evening and not to hesitate if we needed anything, such a lovely welcome! We had a small issue (think it was our fault) with a couple of our fobs a couple of days later but Mike was on duty and had everything sorted in no time at all, again he was so friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, he offered that same reassurance that he was there if we needed anything. There was a tiny adjustment in the bathroom and Chris was knocking at the apartment to rectify it within a few hours of mentioning it, he was another really friendly professional member of the team here and we appreciated him coming to sort things out so quickly. I wouldn't normally write such a detailed review but it's so deserved, and it's also hard to say everything about Hove Gardens in a few words. Thank you Dan for going above and beyond to make this happen so quickly for us, and thanks to Becky, Mike and Chris for such a great welcome!

I love living here! It feels really safe, the aesthetic is really cool, it feels like a proper home! I love the communal areas as well. The team are also great, always so welcoming and helpful. Especially Becky from the FOH team! She was super helpful when we were moving in and continues to be as well!
