Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are tonnes of bars and places to grab food, and living on the canal is lovely. More local shops have opened up recently which is great - we have 2 corner shops, some wine shops and delis, and anything else like pharmacies are a short walk in Stratford or Bow. Looking forward to more opening as time goes on.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We've had a few snags sorted out pretty well - they fixed some drainage on the balcony and a minor issue with the toilets.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It's been a bit slow for commercial units to get filled but it's finally happening.

What is the best feature of your home:

Balcony overlooking the canal, good sized rooms, a ventilation system that's helped to ease my asthma.

Good - quiet, scenic Bad - anti social behaviour, litter, bin collection. need more shops, cafes etc

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Slowly and frustratingly. L and q are so hard to reach. And then when they are it takes months to sort issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the lobby would not be decorated, and that our service charge cost does not reflect in any way the service provided

The location, community and actual flat is great! But we have yet to see retail progress!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

At first it was horrible and it felt as though they were not addressing the root cause. We had repeat issues.

The fact that we would need to chase on everything !

Lots of local bars, few shops only an over priced corner shop. Limited parking options but very quiet as not road facing. Lots of late night parties

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Often quite slow, had bollard issues for weeks and gate issues for weeks and not resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How poor LaQ are, I would avoid if you can but not everyone has a choice

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good:- It is extremely peaceful for this part of London. Plenty of entertainment on your doorstep and beyond. Transport links depend on your situation really. Overground/DLR within 10 min walk, buses and Boris bikes even closer. Not car friendly (which is a positive in my opinion). Bad:- Difficult for visitors out of the city if they are driving, but being so close to a major hub like Stratford makes it a lot easier if they are coming via public transport from anywhere in the world really. Nearest Supermarket is in Bow (about 15-20 min walk).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were buying a promise. You never got to see the property until a month before moving in (we had completed 6 months prior because we loved the plot/location and didn't want to lose it). The kitchen design is strange. Tiny bins and a dishwasher placed in such a way that you can't open cupboards to unload into. The worktops are so deep and high that a footstool is needed to reach the top cupboards (I'm 5ft 10").

What is the best feature of your home:

The balcony. It is extremely large (even outside of London!)
