Traffic noise can be quite annoying at times but overall the transport links and stores around are good

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A lot of issues that have occurred have been fixed fairly fast.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew about the fragility of the building, however, I was happy to find out that the flat had two bathrooms and a large balcony.

Bad: - not many good grocery shops around - traffic noise Good: - bin collection sufficient - calm area without issues

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had issues with boiler and had no hot water for almost a week so was unable to shower. Other smaller repairs took really long time to get fixed. When finally front doors lock was fixed we were not informed they actually changed the lock and that we need to pick up new keys somewhere so what a surprise it was when coming back home late at night that we can’t get in. Luckily the concierge had new sets of keys but no one cared to inform us about any of it

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There was no welcome package with all the details how concierge work, that we need to register somewhere etc + instructions for appliances. Would also love to know in advance more about floor heating and the hot water top up system that was not mentioned.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: Good accessibility- Many transport links such as bus stops and DLR Local Tesco nearby and many corner shops Chris’s street market for fruit and veg Restaurants in poplar Bad: Sometimes the motorway can be noisy but this isn’t a huge problem. There are a few drug dealers and gangs in the area making it not very safe for children. Parking is a problem as we have to park very far away from the home and some areas are dangerous and drunk people break car windows ( especially near the pub area) More bins would be better as there is seen to be trash thrown on the floor.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The main front door has been fixed many times but outsiders come and break it and punch holes into the walls which is concerning.

There isn’t anything

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Regeneration area but with a lot of potential within the next 5 years. Despite being close to the DLR and motorway, there is no noise (good isolation)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very réactive. Had raised several queries when we moved and everything has been addressed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The sole negative aspect is the increase of the service charge.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Canary Wharf with its big shopping area is about 10-15 min walk which is really convenient. Blackwall station which gets you into the City in about 15-20 min is only 5 min walk as well. There is a Tesco Express nearby as well which makes it easy to do quick small grocery shopping. But there are also other shops near All Saints (actually a quite big market) and near East India station, both within 15-20 min walk as well. So far the area has been safe and kept clean.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are usually quick to act but fortunately have not needed to use them much so far.

You pay for hot water and heating by topping up a meter and the company handling it is really bad, had to call them 10 times until they finally set up my account properly. Have not had issues ever since though.
