The worse mistake I ever made.

If I can deter anyone away from buying a property with City and country, then allow me to do so. As a purchaser, the company has no consideration for their residents. Here is just a few examples of my personal experience: >Block access, therefore leaving you unable to get in and out of your property. >Their workers hang their clothes over your garden fence. >Failed to section off wet, drying tarmac, resulting in wheel and paint damage to vehicle. >Installed the wrong tiles in bathroom and ordered the wrong kitchen. >Contractors trying to enter your property and disturbing you asking if the garage is block work or brick work. >Installed the backdoor the wrong way round so water flows into the house rather then out. >Nails left on floor throughout drive access. They like to make false promises and not deliver. Most of all, they fail to take responsibility above all else. This is the 5th new build I’ve experienced, and by far the worst company I’ve come across.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to Colchester & Ipswich. Easy access to transport and local facilities. Great local pubs and takeaways. Lots of nice areas of dog walking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How awful of a company City & Country and to not use.

What is the best feature of your home:

The general outside design and look of my property is nice.
