Mustard Wharf at Tower Works, LS1

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have liked living at mustard wharf which is a great location close to the city. It is located next to the train station so is great for commuting to York and nice when returning home when tired.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had one issue with my washing machine however it was due to the filter being full. The lady came up the same day and showed me how to empty this for future.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing I wish I had known and any questions I have had I have asked to reception.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Mustard award is in the perfect location, right in the centre of the city yet the area offers a more peaceful feeling right next to the canal. The staff are always super friendly and happy to help

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not had to raise any issues so far so have no feedback

I asked lots of questions at my viewing so nothing really came as a shock

I love the accommodation, the space and the storage. The staff is extremely friendly especially Jadine. The maintanece is quick and smooth, they fix everything asap.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve solved everything I required quickly! They've also left everything neat and tidy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If I would’ve known this property was this good, I’d have moved in earlier!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Everything about Mustard Wharf is superior to any other apartments I viewed. The location was our biggest pull, being so close to shops, cafes, restaurants, it is the definition of city center living. The street is not a through road and leads into Granary Wharf, so there is no issues with noise. The roads surrounding can be busy at peak times, however this is to be expected in such a central location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have never raised any maintenance so unable to comment, however see the onsite maintenance staff running around site so am confident that like all other services would be amazing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Heating costs are separate to the other utilities which we did not know until a few month into our tenancy. This works out to be cheaper than our last flat so is great, however we had to backdate the payment for the months we missed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the area - it has so many places within walking distance and homely local pubs which are great for afterwork drinks. The apartments are located next to Leeds Train station which is convenient and for being so close, we are not disturbed by noise or traffic. Anti social behavior is not an issue, all the residents who live here are in similar circumstances to ourselves and it has been nice to meet likeminded people at the events that are put on by the site team.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management have been great throughout my tenancy and extremely approachable when needed.

A tip for any neighbor is not to forget about the roof terrace in the Giotto building - as this tends to be quieter in Summer than the others and has come great spaces to entertain including sofas, which are really comfy.
