Mustard Wharf at Tower Works, LS1

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have liked living at mustard wharf which is a great location close to the city. It is located next to the train station so is great for commuting to York and nice when returning home when tired.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have had one issue with my washing machine however it was due to the filter being full. The lady came up the same day and showed me how to empty this for future.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing I wish I had known and any questions I have had I have asked to reception.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are a bunch of bars and restaurants around the area and grocery store in walking distance. A new bakery has just opened up and it's adorable!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have always been very responsive addressing any issues in no time

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The water taxi is very close by and takes you to the Royal Armories in about 15 minutes

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is fantastic, we have enjoyed exploring and sampling the local bars, restaurants and other amenities. The transport links for car users are great, 5mins and you are on a motorway going in any direction. The only real issue is the limited parking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Ryan the FM has been proactive in responding to email correspondence and provided the expected level of support. Brett and Laura have been fantastic in the works that they have completed for us and couldn't be more helpful and responsive, in many instances going above and beyond.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The parcel store can be painful to use, but this is more to do with the delivery drivers than the facility

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is located in the center of the city and is really clean. Literally, everything you want is within walking distance. Although it is in the center, it is very quiet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond very quickly. The maintenance team is amazing, especially Brett; he is incredible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Sometimes, issues take longer to be sorted if an external contractor is involved, but I think the service management team needs to do better regarding this.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area is great, with excellent shops, restaurants, and green spaces. Transport is convenient, parking is easy, and bin collections are regular. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with friendly staff and great service.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been very responsive and efficient in addressing any issues. They handle concerns promptly, ensuring a smooth living experience. Billy, in particular, has been exceptionally helpful, always going the extra mile to assist residents.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything has been great, but I wish I had known earlier how helpful and dedicated the building management team is, especially Bailey. His support makes a big difference in day-to-day living. A tip for new neighbors: don’t hesitate to reach out—help is always available!
