Not much bad about the area. The internet connection can be a bit of a problem but can be easily fixed.

What is the best feature of your home:

The design and the community is great. You really feel at home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are a lot of local shops, e.g. at the nearby Straiton retail park. It is really aimed at people with a car however and there aren't any shops/things to do within walking distance. You'd have to walk about 10-15 minutes to the nearest shops either in gracemount or near the Hyvots bank terminus.

I would recommend this development more to those with a car. As a couple without a car we get by ok but it's a shame that there is no direct path to be able to walk to the Straiton retail park.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature is the overall sizes of our rooms, every room is a good size and practical. No room is too small and I also like the solar panels.

The design and the community is great. You really feel at home.

Minutes drive to local shops, schools etc. No traffic noise. Bus stop at end of road which is ideal. Plenty parking.

We were not given a home tour - this is very poor as don’t know how to work many items.

What is the best feature of your home:

Plot size. Our garden is lovely - large and south west facing.

Its a very nice and peaceful area with no antisocial behaviour. There are numerous shops nearby within walking/cycling and driving distance although the bus service is very limited nearby.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The slope in our back garden which is a very expensive fix.

What is the best feature of your home:

Te spacious rooms, charles church unique from the other developers have given all their properties plenty of space within each room unlike all the modern developers.
