Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local convenience stores are within walking distance, take always , and a chemist. A shopping centre Dalton Park is a 10 minute drive away. There are problems locally with antisocial behaviour , on being made aware of the problems residents have suffered , the developers have endeavoured to improve security .

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Have requested repairs on a couple of things these were sorted promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Always raise the handle on the front door when leaving as this locks the door in a more secure way. Also make sure to turn the lock on the front door or put the chain on as a toddler is able to open the door just with the handle .

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Parking is good. There are lots of buses so you can easily go to Sunderland, Durham and Newcastle . Parking is good with lots of space for residents and visitors.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Dealt with quickly and kept up to date with any delays etc

Garden storage required, side gate for access needs to be better as bangs in wind when left open

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Feels safe in the estate it gives a real sense of community all the residents are really nice. Kids able to play around the estate without a worry. Great access to the motorway, petrol station 2 minutes drive away which is ideal! The high street has butchers, convenience stores, hairdressers, take aways, cafe, park just a five minute walk away. We love it here!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any maintenance issues are resolved very quickly without any stress

If you enjoy sitting out in the sun go for a property where you get the sun all day we are lucky it lasts untill 5pm but some get the sun all day! :)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The estate in general is kept clean, garden space maintenance is kept very good, most repairs needed are carried out promptly. The negatives are the outside area around the estate is quite rundown. Also within the estate people are not using their parking bays and instead parking up on the pavement, which makes it both dangerous for pedestrians and other drivers

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I first moved in and pointed out the many problems, the management were very slow in sorting them and I had to continually chase them, taking over a year to fix my door and it's still not great

If I'd known the rent was going to keep increasing year after year I'd certainly not have moved in, it's hardly in a prestigious area

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

As soon as you leave the development, it’s a total different kettle of fish, plagued with antisocial behaviour & high crime rates. Thank goodness the development is heavily camera’d!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Hit and miss sometimes they don’t turn up! A few occasions a certain plumbing company failed to turn up
