Lots of bars, cafes and things to do nearby. Car parks nearby for visitors and also close by tram links. I moved to Sheffield having hardly even visited before and the location of Soho Yard has been ideal for getting to know the city.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had a small issue with one of the locks in the flat on our move in day and the maintenance team had it fixed and 2 new keys in under 30 minutes - almost sounds too good to be true but it is!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the area around the building, but I have been nothing but pleasantly surprised since arriving!

I love living near Kelham Island, and with the location of the apartment building it's not far from the city centre either. It's far enough way to feel more residential but not too far that you can't walk to the centre. Kelham has plenty to offer and the area is pretty safe and comfortable. Plenty of parking nearby. You can hear the traffic but it's not disturbing, if windows are closed it's quiet. Overall it's a nice area to live in, I've lived around Kelham for 4 years and it's the best area I've lived in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The team are very supporting, helpful and are prompt with getting things sorted for you!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just a clearer process really, the application process was clear but then things faltered slightly. The main things were not been told that if you select the traditional deposit option it just refers back to the Soho Yard team, and that the deposit would be due 5 working days before tenancy start date. As well as getting the tenancy agreement 5 working days before move in as well. But other than that, everything else has been quite clear, gym, concierge, bin store, mail room, bills etc. And the team are very friendly, welcoming and available to help :)

Great local shops, lots of independents, including bars and pubs. The street itself is nice and pedestrianised and the busy road to the side isn’t an annoyance because of the windows in the building. No anti social behaviour issues. There’s no car parking on site.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very helpfully - Terry and the team are always willing to help.

The team were great so there’s nothing I’d particularly say I needed to know.

We love Kelham island! It’s got brilliant bars and restaurants and is walkable to the town centre. Noise of main road near by not noticeable

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues raised! But any questions we have had have been answered very quickly, the staff appear very knowledgeable

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have been handy to know local parking spaces and prices around the city and not just the one over the road
