Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of the building is a great transportation hub, with the DLR only 2 minutes away, and the metro a mere 5 minutes away. This convenience made commuting a breeze. However, the area has become quite overcrowded due to its small size. Another tower is being built right next to it, which may cause concern for existing tenants. Despite this, there is a small Tesco shop only 1 minute away from the tower, which is a convenient place to do some quick shopping. Unfortunately, the Tesco is poorly managed and can become quite overcrowded at times. However, there is a pizza restaurant located in the tower which is a great option for a quick bite to eat.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Unfortunately, I found that the management team was not very helpful during my time living there. Whenever I had any issues, I felt as though I was left to deal with them on my own without any support or assistance. It was a frustrating experience to feel unsupported by the people who were supposed to be managing the building and looking after the residents.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i knew about the cooling / hot water system - it is a real rip off . And in winter you still feel extremely cold.

Loud and Persistent Wind Noise Ruins It

Pamela U (Tenant)

Dec 2022

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Generally great area. Very close to DLR / Jubilee / Elizabeth lines, and lots of bars, restaurants, shopping centres nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Steam room has been out of commission for months, but will soon be fixed. Wind noise is the worst issue and for some reason cannot be addressed - in fact, management is quite dismissive of very valid concerns.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The terrible wind noise. Perhaps not all units are affected but I am in an 02 suite and my walls, floors and ceilings are creaking like crazy. The noise is unsettling and very disturbing.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Loving the area, easy access to restaurants, pubs and shopping malls. 1 min away from DLR St, and walking distance to tube stations.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Leaking problem from bathroom. Heating not working.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Very satisfying, positive experience. Great to be a resident of SQP.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent location with stunning view, the construction quality of building itself is one of the highest rank in town.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

POD can only said served in fair condition as we are paying ceiling high prices for the service charges, always rooms can be better.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The exterior glass walls cleaning may or may not clean as scheduled. Two pieces of the exterior glass wall hasn’t been cleaned for almost 20 months.

A decent place for the summer, but don't even consider it as a place to live in winter.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are very responsive for small things (e.g. a light sensor malfunctioning), but for any of the larger issues (i.e. heating), you have to be VERY demanding, because otherwise they will simply stall (i.e. "it'll be done in a few weeks") or completely ignore your issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Don't get a flat here unless you own another place to stay at during winter. If you have that, it's not that bad.
