Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We chose Spinning Fields as it was just a 10 minute drive to work for me in town but set in the more rural part of Braintree. Walking into town is about 25 minutes but local transport is also accessible. There is still a lot of building work being carried out as the next phase of the development is underway but our road is complete. Road and driveways nice and wide unlike some developments where houses are literally on top of each other and roads barely take two way traffic.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had a couple of minor issues but they have been dealt with in a timely fashion and contractors that have come into my home have been polite and respectful,

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As a new build we had an issue getting the property registered with Royal Mail in good time. As soon as you know you are going to sign a tenancy on a new build contact Royal Mail and Council Tax straight away.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area felt safe and had a nice community feel. I didn’t experience any issues and it was a peaceful area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management was good. Mustafa Dar always responded in a timely manner and dealt with any issues we raised.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we knew the distance between the development and local shops

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Love the location, great for children. Parking is great, no traffic noise. Well kept development. It would be nice to have a bit more play equipment in the playground. No negatives as yet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Promptly and helpful with any questions and issues I have raised.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No comments, most of the facilities speak for themselves. Any questions I had prior to moving in I asked or have since asked.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We moved from a very busy area so to live here is lovely . It’s quiet, plenty of parking for each house which was a big thing for us. Shops and the town centre is only a 10 minute drive so very easy to get everywhere

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mustafa has responded very quickly in regards to getting problems raised and fixed , I haven’t yet used the portal

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I knew was just abit more about the heating system

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I don’t think I have any bad aspects of the local area. Parking provided to the house is great, the roads have an open feel to them so you don’t feel like you’re just surrounded by houses. It’s very peaceful here and extremely well maintained. I am close to the town and have the local shops nearby within 5 minute drive time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mustafa has been our point of call and although we have had a few small minor issues he has been very effective in getting these issues resolved very quickly. He responds to emails within the same day if he’s not on site and will do what he can to make sure we are happy and content in the property. I was unsure on the new heating system and Mustafa called me and showed me how it all works, nothing is ever too much trouble and he doesn’t make you feel like a nuisance by contacting him.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish there was an opportunity to have a BT line put in for our WiFi but proved a bit complex to do. We was able to cancel our own WiFi because of this issue but feel we are left with the WiFi that is supplied with the house, there’s no tv package included so an additional cost would be required if you wish you have this separately but again you are limited on who can supply this. To have the price of the WiFi included in the rent is a good idea but an option to have your own supplied WiFi without using the one given to you and having it taken off the rent price would be more appealing.
