Would be great if better ceilings and carpet installed

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is excellent. It is just a few minutes from Mile End tube and suitably distanced from the horrendous Bow Road, so no traffic noise at all.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes it has responded but offered no solutions. They still haven’t replied to my last email sent months ago.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Don’t buy Linden if you’re noise sensitive. They cut corners on ceiling insulation. Also they don’t carpet many flats so footfall thumps travel to downstairs flats.

Beautiful and quiet but not perfect

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The greatest advantage is how central and close to Central Line Tube and many buses it is whilst at the same time it is very quiet and close to green spaces and the Regents Canal. There is one great coffee shop nearby but no interesting restaurants unless you like Nandos. But then, with great restaurants, you also get a lot of traffic and noise, see Shoreditch, which is only two tube stops away. Bin collection is often a problem and rubbish spills over.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that the street signs are never being put up (maybe the will be in the future). Hearing/feeling the vibration of the tube underneath came as a surprise, although it is not really disturbing. Some people even like it. It's the price to pay living close to the station. The exaggerated price of the heating cost that we are locked in to.

What is the best feature of your home:

It is very quiet, a place to rest and recharge whilst living central. Having Tower Hamlets cemetery at one's back door is wonderful.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely community spirit in the local park (Victoria park)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't actually raised any problems with the property management thus far.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would've been nice to know about the door/gate.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like being so close to bus and train stations. It makes commuting easy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I'd tell a new neighbour about the easy access to the local tesco that's just around the corner, and the one pound produce bowls at the local shops nearby.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I would change the fences around the first few houses as they block up the path.

I think the design (once it will be completed) is lovely and it looks very grand.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a good choice of local amenities, good shops etc. Transport links are great with buses and tubes and overgrounds. However there isn't a good direct link to Shoreditch/Dalston area. There is some basic restaurants a small walk away such as Nandos etc, but there could be more Victoria Park is a great attraction and is only 20min walk away. Very good for walks, children and pets.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are still on going but they always answer and try to get in dates for people to come round to view problems. It is longer wait times than I expect but is due to covid 19. Before hand they were quick to address any problems internally. I have however had an ongoing problem with my balcony which still has not been resolved, so still on going.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the problems with the balcony before moving in so it could of been address long ago.
