Wide range of local shops, local cafes, restaurants. Quiet and nice area! Private and driveway parking available. Tram and train stops just right next to the building!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are trying to sort out problems quickly and fix it asap!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish the train station side of the building was open from the beginning, but other than that everything is great!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Management are brilliant. No job is too small. The residents are great too. Whilst we have been here we have had an art evening, a football get together when England played, mocktail/cocktail weekend and a Macmillan coffee morning We have a Halloween Party coming up soon. All residents are friendly and there have been no issues with noise or mess etc. It's really nice meeting the resident pets. Rubbish is collected regularly. We have parking downstairs but there is plenty of parking on the street I'm looking forward to some businesses moving in to the units downstairs. I think it's family friendly as well as good for professionals. The amenities area and gym are always clean and accessible. I like the fact that the apartments are furnished and we can still personalised it. We feel safe living here and happy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues are addressed promptly. Apart from one issue. Communication is excellent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I was a bit surprised at the council tax being so high. Also would have been nice to know about that sheesha bar. But, that hasn't caused me any major problems except once when someone had blocked my car in. I soon learnt to use my son's blue badge and park on the double yellows. Problem solved. I wish I wasn't so busy so I could visit the local museums and cafes etc. No recycling facilities yet. Make sure you use the address on your tenancy agreement. I was using The Goodsyard main address for bills etc.. caused me a few problems. Took months to sort.

Nothing, I was given a very specific and accurate insight to the whole building and outside grounds by Nadine

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Its location is the only real positive. Jewellery quarter is on one side of the development that is upmarket, and has plenty to do. The bad side is, the development is on the cusp of Jewellery quarter so it also borders a rougher side which is quite unsafe. The on street parking has resulted in peoples car parts being stolen in the night, theres an illegal party that has ben going on before they built the development every sunday and these days every Saturday and sometimes Fridays too, plus bank holiday Mondays. You end up hearing loud music all through out the night, sometimes till 3 am due to that party located adjacent to the development. Bin collections are poor. The development still does not recycle, and its been over a year since the development opened . You can hear cars all the time if your flat sits next to a road. 2 sides of the development have roads where people speed down them. The other sides are burdened by loud music from those parties or by the loud trains as the development is also adjacent to the train tracks at Jewellery quarter Station

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Poorly, again due to the incompetent general manager.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything highlighted above. I chose yourselves as you are supposed to be a big organisation, I felt like my landlord was doing this all for the first time. It made the experience apalling.

Manager response

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the issues you've experienced and appreciate your honesty. We understand your concerns regarding the finishes in the apartment blocks, the cleanliness of common areas, and the missing treadmill in the gym. We are reassessing cleaning schedules and addressing maintenance issues like loose exit buttons and unfinished fire exits. We also regret the delays in deposit returns and will review our process to ensure timely handling. Your concerns about property management are noted, and we are taking steps to improve staff communication and responsiveness. We appreciate your patience and are committed to making improvements.
