Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Lexington is a stunning building in a stunning location. For convenience and essentials stopping, there is a Sainsburys adjacent to the site, and a Tesco just a short walk away. If perhaps you fancy a nice meal or some drinks, the dock is situated very close; about a 5-10 minute scenic walk along the River Mersey. There is parking available for those who drive, but if you do not, buses are abundant around the local area as well as James Street train station nearby. There is a good waste system in the building, with a clear recycling strategy albeit the waste chutes that are available per floor seem to seldom work.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have had no issues yet that have needed to be resolved, but the system for it in place is very trivial and easy to use.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It gets very hot in your apartment on the waterfront side during hot days, so factor that into your decision on which apartment you would want to choose.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area has a solid range of shops, restaurants, and bars, offering everything from quick bites to fine dining. There’s also good access to open spaces, which is ideal for a bit of fresh air along the River Mersey, offering a nice escape when needed. Transport links are generally convenient, with buses and trains making it easy to get around. The building itself is warm and quiet, making it a comfortable place to live. On street parking can be a challenge unless you have a dedicated space in the building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Moving is right up there with public speaking and assembling flat-pack furniture on the list of “things that should come with a support group”. And balancing it around work commitments, well, that’s a whole new level of chaos - one minute you're in a Zoom meeting, the next you're trying to locate your kettle. Please pass on my thanks to Dean Kilpatrick, Millie Mitchell, and Sophie Corkhill - they've made all the difference to my moving in experience! No issue has been too big, no request too small, and they've handled everything with professionalism, humour, and a genuine care for the people in the building. I don't deny my expectations are high, yet somehow, this trio has found solutions to all issues and made it seem effortless. Dean tackles everything with speed and efficiency (a bit like the Siri of building management - on steroids), and Millie orchestrates everything with a smile and has helped sort access, tackled unexpected hiccups, and generally just made sure I don’t lose my mind in the process. If there was an award for 'hassle-free moving heroes' of the year, this team would scope top prize. And as soon as the bin chute is back in use, and my windows are cleaned, I’ll be even more grateful :)
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It would be helpful to have some timelines on the development that is taking place around the building. That aside, it’s a wonderful place to live (although I'm only a few days in), and the building team is excellent. Thanks again to Dean Kilpatrick, Millie Mitchell, and Sophie Corkhill - they show a real sense of care for residents. Would highly recommend!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are several local shops on your doorstep (Bean, Sainsbury’s, Moose) and the city centre is a short walk away. There is parking available for residents, but this does incur an extra cost. Rubbish collection is frequent and the staff assigned to this are incredibly professional and efficient. The front desk staff are always helpful and friendly.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes - as said above, we have had several issues impacting our tenancy and the building management, especially Kyran, has ensure things are solved to our satisfaction.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is only one issue that we would point out - the refuse chute in the building has been out of order since we moved in. This is an excellent amenity and we hope it is fixed soon.
