How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

well-organized and efficient.I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Moda Mercian. The facilities are top-notch, and the maintenance team is always responsive. The community feel is great, and the location is very convenient. However, the recent renovation has caused some disruptions to the communal areas.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything is clear. As a Moda Mercian resident, I've been quite happy with my stay. The amenities are great, especially the on-call maintenance service. However, the ongoing renovation has been disruptive, impacting the overall aesthetics, particularly the lobby. I hope these disruptions can be minimized soon to restore the previous charm of the place.

From day one of arriving I had the wow factor of The Mercian. Good location and transport links. Great amenities and team.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always on hand to resolve any issues promptly. Thanks to Rosa for assisting with any enquiries I have.

How lively Broad street and locality can be at weekends.

Brilliant location next to plenty of amenities. Very close to New St and Bullring as well as Brindley Place. Love it here. Tennant St is very quiet and I’ve had no issues.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve been brilliant, Katie has dealt with any issues I’ve had and Rob has been swift to fix

Should have moved in quicker! Brilliant building and they make it so easy to live here. Love it

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

My local area has great facilities, with well-maintained parks, good shopping options, and a variety of restaurants. Security is excellent, with frequent patrols and low crime rates. Public transport is convenient, with regular buses and a nearby train station. However, traffic noise can be an issue on busy days. Bin collection is reliable, but sometimes littering is a concern in certain areas.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management is generally responsive and addresses issues promptly. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently, and communication is clear.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the range of facilities available, as there are some great amenities that aren’t widely advertised. The gym, lounge, and communal spaces are excellent, and the green areas are perfect for relaxing. It would have been helpful to know this earlier!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have to say the apartment I live in, Mercian, is one of the most expensive apartments in Birmingham. Its facilities and services are also the best, I used to live in a student apartment, the room is very small and the price is very expensive. I'm glad my friend introduced me here. This is my ideal place to live. Of course, it also has some things I don't like, such as its garbage room needs to go through 4 doors, haha this is no joke, it is like going through a maze.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Charlotte reply my emails very quickly. That makes my rental presses very effective. Rosa works hard every day even in the Christmas Day she was still there to help us. She doesn’t like to talk too much, but she is very helpful to us.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I remember when I moved in was the end of the November and it’s quite cold when I moved in. I try to turn on my heating but it didn’t work at moment. As I read the instruction of the heating on the app is not the same heating of my apartment. So I didn’t know how to set up my heating that day. I hope the instruction of the facilities can be matched to each building. I know it is not a easy thing as it a technical problem, but it can be resolved if you want.
