Beautiful place to live

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Limited local shops and restaurants in the immediate area but not far to walk to more choice. Green spaces and the reservoirs are a major bonus. Safety is unfortunately a big concern and there are many reports of dodgy happenings nearby which is such a shame because the development feels like it would be really safe. Overall a lovely place to live and the facilities are great.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

building management is very responsive and communicative- a pleasure to work with.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Beautiful place to live but the rent is sky rocketing.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very conveniently located to the Piccadilly line at Manor House, with quick and easy connections to central london. With only one bar / restaurant in the development, there could be more amenities in closer range.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When we moved in there was a defect with the seal on our balcony door. This was not promptly resolved however I feel this was a contractor issue rather than a building management one.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The electricity bills have been exponentially increasing since we moved in and as a district heating network there currently is no cap - unlike with gas and other heating sources.

Design of the sandpiper building is great

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Nature Collection is situated right by the nature reservoir in a quiet corner of the estate. The close proximity to the water offers a very relaxing vibe and lots of lovely walks - fantastic for families and anyone that is enjoying a quiet part of London. Sandpiper building is well insulated offering a lot of warmth throughout the winter months. My flat is ver spacious getting light in the morning and afternoon. The facilities are great - access to the pool and gym, concierge collecting parcels and private garden. Love living here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They management is responsive and quick to address if issues with the development arise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing that surprised me after I moved in to Sandpiper building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Quiet location, good to be close to two big parks, the tube and the shops on green lanes. Would love it if a Waitrose opened though…

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, very responsive to issues raised by us or others. Quick fix to a minor sink issue when we first moved in, nice to see that features (eg the fountain) are being maintained.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The utility cupboards (and generally the storage) in the flats are brilliant and should be in more new developments.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is good thanks to connections with stations and city center. Area is quiet, with friendly neighbors, and green spaces. Development quality is high relatively to UK standards, however I believe that properties prices are very high too. Not many nice restaurants around, however there are some at 10min walk distance. Don’t have a car thus I can’t comment on parking. Overall, positive feedback.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In some cases the action to fix the issues could have been taken earlier.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing in particular in my specific case, all was explained before moving in.
