Excellent value for money

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Well connected to london, yet quiet to live in. Many supermarkets close by, not that many restaurants to eat in but take-away options are good. Many leisure activities nearby like gyms.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

If any issues raised, prompt repair was arranged by the landlord.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Very good value for money, living on the street side can be problematic tho.

Happy renting

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is a mix of good and bad - some good restaurants, pubs and amazing transport links. There is a bit of anti social behaviour and busy roads on the flip side

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Excellent response every time - when we first moved in we asked for many repairs which were all done promptly. We’ve had hardly any need for repairs since but whenever we do, it’s quick and done well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Transport links are everything! Understanding the variety of transport links is key here - we have the dlr, buses, cycle highways but also strong connections to various tube lines.

Nice area and building near central London

Gabriele (Tenant)

Verified Resident

May 2023

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is well connected by many buses and the DLR. It’s a thriving neighborhood with many facilities such as grocery shops, gyms and small parks. The closest local market is 20 min away (Chrisp Street Market) and the closest shopping centre is about 30min away in Canary Wharf. Although Commercial Road is very busy and trafficked, this is a fairly quiet neighborhood.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have never contacted the building management personally but I’ve heard about complaints from other tenants and as far as I know they have been sorted.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would like to highlight that it might not be possible to activate any internet provider as the sockets are Openreach. I almost started a contract with another company. They said they had to make a hole in the walls to make the cable reach the apartment so I had to renounce.

Good place to live in

Berenice L (Tenant)

Sept 2022

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Not a lot of bars but shops nearby, and close to the centre of London (Bank and Shoreditch) as well as two climbing gyms.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, some furniture was changed when we arrived in the property at our request.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Overall just better security for the bike storage.

Limehouse is a nice area, but needs improvement

Gabriele A (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Sept 2022

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: there are numerous shops around the area, such as lidl and tesco express. Also it’s not too far from the nearest shopping centre in Canary Wharf. It’s very well connected with DLR trains from Limehouse or Westferry. Bad: around the block there are always shady people and a person I know as been mugged once.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve always been assisted about any issues, when I reported

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As I mentioned in the past, it’s impossible to change the heating provider so every-time they decide to increase the cost of hot water bills, we are left with no choice.
