Life is good at Apo Kew Bridge

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Transport options are fantastic. An approximately 30s walk to Kew Bridge station can get you to Waterloo in 20-25 minutes. The bus stop is also right outside the building and can get you to Richmond, Chiswick, Hammersmith all within 10-15 mins. There are a number of food options also within a short walk, be it Sainsbury's Local, takeaway options and more traditional restaurants.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, the team were very attentive and getting any issues resolved in a very short space of time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would say mainly make the most of the shared facilities, particularly if you work from home. I always felt better when I worked from the coworking space, rather than stuck in my apartment day after day.

The area offers very good amenities

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area offers very good amenities with diverse shops along Kew Bridge Road and Chiswick High Road. Transport is convenient with Kew Bridge station and several bus routes, though Gunnersbury is unfortunately not the most reliable station of TfL, likewise District line. Living here is generally peaceful, I am happy to live here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They immediately take action whenever we raise a concern, and genuinely strive to solve the issue. It sometimes takes time, but I see efforts and it matters.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Council tax rate. I moved here when I was a student, and now that I am not anymore, I need to pay a Council tax that is relatively high for my budget and income.

Modern Building with Great Amenities but Developing Surroundings

Alena (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Nov 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area has its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, it’s very close to the embankment and a lovely park, which provide excellent open spaces for walks and outdoor activities. Transport links are fairly convenient, making it easy to reach nearby areas. However, there aren’t many cafes or shops around yet, so options for dining out or grabbing essentials are limited. The ongoing construction is a bit of a downside, creating some noise and making the area feel less nice at times, but hopefully, this will improve in the future.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management responded promptly and efficiently, addressing any issues I raised in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that there’s a convenient shop nearby called Mum’s Whole Food. It’s a nice option for fresh produce.

The overall design is good

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Not many restaurants or shops nearby. Some are opening but not many options in the vicinity. Transport is very convenient and you have many options to get around and into London. The street is mostly quiet due to the road being isolated. Game days are busy but never a problem.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded well and quickly with any issues that I have raised.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be clear there isn't AC in the units. Perhaps how often you plan on having events in/around the building.

Homely in Kew Bridge

Jema P (Tenant)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is superb. It’s right next to the station but we don’t get noise from the train. I love that it’s on the river and dog friendly, there’s so many places to walk the dogs and the community is so lovely. There’s local shops for groceries, beauty and every sushi less than a 2 minute walk away. I can also get the bus really easily to get to the district line or Ealing Broadways Elizabeth and central line. I feel safe walking my dogs at night here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly. The handyman is there everyday and quick for repairs.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s so many lovely coffee shops and pubs within walking distance. It’s easy to spend money on a dog walk.
