Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent transport links with the Elizabeth line less than 5 minutes walk from the building. The high street is also less than 5 minutes walk away. With access the most stores you need. There is an ASDA less than 10 minutes walk away.... In terms of Food, you have access to really good chinese / Indian restaurants and the usual fast food chains like KFC / MCDonalds, all within walking distance. Parking is available in the building, but it costs £100 a month which is normal for the area. In terms of traffic noise, I guess you will probably only be hearing the trains as the flats are right next to the track... But given the excellent sound isolation in the apartment, I barely notice them with the windows closed. I generally feel safe going out at night in the area, but it can get a bit dodgy past mid night

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always, and very quickly. They have an excellent maintenance request system via the tenant portal

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I'd try to sign up for a long term contract that limits rent adjustments for the whole term, with the current rate of inflation, I don't think it would be long before the rents hit 2k a month in no time.

1. Affordability – Compared to other parts of London, Barking offers relatively affordable housing, making it a good option for first-time buyers and renters. 2. Transport Links – Barking Station connects to the District and Hammersmith & City lines, the Overground, and C2C services, offering quick access to central London and Essex. The upcoming Elizabeth Line at nearby Ilford further enhances connectivity.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Of course, as with any development, there’s always room for improvement, but overall, the landlord has been professional, and the living experience here has been positive. I’d definitely recommend this building to anyone looking for a well-managed, comfortable place to live.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

efore moving here, I wish I had known how challenging parking can be. While some buildings offer private or allocated parking, street parking is often limited, and permit regulations can be quite strict. If you rely on a car, it’s important to check parking availability in advance to avoid any hassle. Planning ahead can save a lot of time and frustration!

Wide variety of local shops, restaurants. Near the bullring. Good transport links being a 5 minute walk to new street station. Bad aspects is areas around the building are not the most aesthetically pleasing.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Have yet to have any issues with the building. Pleasant experience

How big the mattresses were. Had to buy new sheets

Apo is located in City Centre , Hence any shopping and Groceries are convenient for the Apartment. Near to Bus stop and Railway station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

yes, recently i had screws issues for my Heater they have fixed it

I just would have asked regarding the Gym as i have not read the deatils completely.

Nice to place to live near city centre and walkable distance. Good supportive reception and housing team so far with welcome reception in terms of all services . Peace of mind to see entire city with balcony view or inside from Living room .

Yes Indeed on email not in actual too delay though we have small residents in this community . Need to improve a lot

Nice process and no hidden way :) Reference Vendor and automate process which makes clear ways to get in successfully

With us being a brand new development a lot of our maintenance issues will fall under the defects process which relies on third party agents to arrange works to be completed.
