Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great restaurants around the area and amazing coffee shop with the best coffee. The tube station is only 2 minutes walking distance from the building. The bad side of the area is the noise level... there's always loud noise in the street (drilling noise, construction noise, people shouting, etc.), so bear this in mind if you like living in a peaceful environment. Even if you keep your windows closed, you will hear the noise!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management is often responsive, but there are a few issues in the building that are still unresolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Loud street noise and lots of pigeons in the area (which always go to our balconies too, creating a mess!!)

The building is facing Canning Town station, so it's a great location for commuting. The traffic noise is one of the main downsides of living here, as the building is located on a very busy road. There are many shops and restaurants in the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management is usually very responsive. I haven't had any major issue in my flat, so I can't provide examples.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The noise level of the street and the (too many) pigeons in the area.

Yes - they are responsive and have sorted the issues raised

The good thing is that it is right next to the station, canning town, and has access to the DLR and Jubilee line

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The ventilation in the bathroom is still not fixed which makes it hard to dry

Great availability of supermarkets in the area (Morrisons 2mins away, two Sainsbury’s 5mins away each), less so in terms of bars and restaurants but shouldn’t come as a surprise in Canning Town. There is a parking garage in the building although I do not know the cost/don’t use it. Bin collection could be more frequent and the mechanics of the bins are finicky. Traffic noise is substantial but when windows are closed you hardly hear anything.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Property management can be extremely helpful or at times negligent- really depends on the person you get in touch with.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Getting delivery people to come up to your apartment can be a hassle as the lift mechanics/entrance control are super finicky, meaning often you will have to come down and collect as the lifts won’t work for delivery people who do not have a key fob. On the other hand you could argue this is good added security
