I have had many problems since completing on the property - these include an incorrectly fitted band under kitchen sink which caused leakage. Water trickling through air vent of window which I've been advised must stay open at all times. Scratches to floor boards (this was the only thing rectified). Scratches on mirror Fitted wardrobe door came off hinges and no longer closes properly. Leaky tap and shower screen (which somehow randomly stopped leaking?!) Damage to kitchen counter. Most recently I began decorating my spare room (after 6 months of moving in) - the pendant to secure the lampshade was missing, contractors would not take liability as Catalyst did not notice this 18 months ago when they took handover of the property - (well before I purchased) I have now been advised I have to buy this myself. On the day of completion the cleaners had not cleaned the flat, the bathroom sink was blocked which left a bad odour and the sign on the balcony had not been removed, I had to clean the property myself. 6 Months later and there are many ongoing issues that I have to deal with and rectify and the only compensation I've ever received is a £50 voucher. Also the manual mentions if the settlement cracks are of a certain width they will be dealt with my the developer, mine fit the criteria but I was still told this would not be rectified by Catalyst - conflicting information!
