Good complex near Canary Wharf

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area offers excellent accessibility with Limehouse DLR station just a 6-minute walk away, providing convenient access to public transportation. However, it's worth noting that trains may not be as frequent at times, which could potentially impact travel plans. Additionally, the proximity to a main road may result in traffic noise and occasional congestion. On a positive note, the numerous off-licenses and a Tesco just a 2-minute walk away ensure easy access to essentials, making errands hassle-free. The presence of security for the blocks has also contributed to a decrease in anti-social behavior, creating a safer and more peaceful living environment. Overall, while the area offers great convenience in terms of amenities and transportation links, the frequency of trains and potential traffic noise are factors to consider. Nevertheless, with its accessible shops and improved security measures, it remains a desirable place to reside.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Issues with humidity as the ventilation system is not working properly.

What is the best feature of your home:

I would say its proximity to Central London and Canary Wharf.

Salton Square in E14 - a wonderful place to live

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Wonderful area. Within walking distance to Canary Wharf and thereby all possible shops and eateries are available; with the DLR and the Jubilee Line it's very easy to get into Central London. Aside from that, this area of Tower Hamlets - incl. Limehouse Basin and Canary Wharf - is one of the most beautiful areas of London.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been fine so far, nothing to complain about.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that buying used electronics - such as dishwashers - isn't always a great idea; they may be nearing the end of their completion cycle even when in fantastic condition.

Iconic Iona!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love living in Limehouse as it's so central and well connected, only a few minutes until you're in zone 1 and less than half an hour to travel to major train stations for further travel. It's been my best commute in London. Limehouse is a really relaxing location being right on the marina, and the base of two canals which stretch up to Victoria Park which is a 30 min walk (and then onto Broadway market). Ropemakers park is well designed and has a great community feel with friendly locals. The riverside pubs are a big plus too, sitting in The sunny Narrow watching the boats go up and down is the perfect way to while away time in a pub. There's also the Grapes owned by Ian McKellen who pops in from time to time! Shopping-wise it's a 15min walk along the river into the Canary Wharf mall, it's pretty quiet which is ace as it means I can shop without the crowds and queues of Westfield etc, a far more pleasurable shopping experience! There are also the usual selection of chain restaurants (and deliveries).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As with most new builds, the storage space is limited. We bought an ottoman bed to accommodate for extra stuff that you could normally shove in a closet that come with older properties.

What is the best feature of your home:

The location - central, easy transport links and pretty location right on the marina and canals!

Nice area and nice building

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Limehouse is a nice area with nice pubs, cafes & restaurants. Still has some rough edges to it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking around the building can be difficult if you haven’t bought a parking space. Also the price of a designated parking space was inflated. So if you walk, cycle or use the DLR then fine but if you need a car day to day then it could be an issue

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I would like bigger windows in the spare bedroom to get more natural light.
