Beautiful area, very nice kitchens, poor floor construction inside and on the balconies.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located in quiet and beautiful area near Northolt Park. There is no busy and noisy streets near by. There is a lack of big shops near by. Just one local grocery shop. South Ruislip and Greenford are the closest big shopping centres.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew before there will be parking limitations

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature in my home is kitchen with nice joinery units and Zanussi appliances

issue with balconies and no soundproof

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Faber Green, Northolt, has both good and bad aspects. The area has a limited range of local shops, with only one a few minutes away. However, the development is conveniently located about five minutes from Northolt Tube Station, providing access to public transport. Parking availability is a significant issue, as spaces are restricted, and the developer is reluctant to issue permits. Contact with the parking control network (PCN) is limited, with delays in email responses, and they seem uninterested in resolving permit issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is the issue with parking and the problems with the balconies. Firstly, the parking situation is more challenging than anticipated, with limited spaces and restrictions that make it difficult to secure a parking permit. It is essential to check with the management about parking policies and availability before moving in. Secondly, the balconies have a significant design flaw. The lack of underside panels means that water and debris from the balcony above frequently drip down, causing inconvenience and potential damage. This issue was not apparent during the typical viewing but has proven to be a persistent problem. It is important for new residents to be aware of these issues and address them with the management as soon as possible to avoid any surprises and ensure a more comfortable living experience.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of my home is the well-equipped kitchen, which includes modern appliances, ample counter space, and high-quality fixtures that make cooking and meal preparation both easy and enjoyable. It is designed to be both functional and stylish, providing a great space for hosting and daily use.

Modern Design with low quality

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area has its ups and downs. On the positive side, there’s a strong sense of community, with friendly neighbors and regular local events. The area is also well-connected with good transportation links, parks, and amenities like shops and restaurants, making daily life convenient and enjoyable. However, the cost of living has risen significantly, making housing expensive. Noise pollution from above flats occasional traffic congestion adds to the inconvenience. While crime is generally low, there have been some concerns with petty theft and vandalism,

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before moving in,. I also didn’t realize how challenging parking could be, especially during peak hours. Additionally, I would have appreciated knowing that maintenance requests can take longer to be addressed. These are minor issues overall, but they’re good to be aware of when settling in.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of my home is the abundance of natural light, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the day.

Improvements needed to soundproof the floors and to install the underside balcony panels

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Beautiful location in a green quiet area next to Northolt Park. Unfortunately only small local grocery shops are available near by. Very close to Tube station and Northolt Leisure Centre which is very handy. All my neighbours are very friendly!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If I knew that that the floors are so poor (soundproofing wise) I would never buy it. But these flats definitely have their own potential so I am hoping that both the floors and balconies will get rectified :)

What is the best feature of your home:

As mentioned previously living room and the kitchen are beautiful spaces in here!
