The neighbours on the estate are really nice to live with, very minimal issues and low noise levels. the nearby shops are easily accessed along with frequent buses into the city centre. There is also a GP practice in walking distance which is useful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

After the initial 50 days, they don't accept responsibility for things

buy spare parts when you can, things seem to break quite quickly

All good except no bus stop at the entrance to estate easterly. Not much noise from the road and good access to the local area on foot

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues when first moved in, slower as the development grew

Wish i’d had better knowledge in snagging and how to snag

The crawcrook area is a lovely little development on the outskirts of Gateshead. The area is semi rural and Northumberland is on your doorstep with the tyne valley village of wylam nearby. The estate is very quiet and peaceful with a mixture of families.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Boiling was missing a loop and developer fixed promptly.

I wish I’d known how long the roads would have taken to be surfaced

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location and neighbours are good, local shops and parks and good transport into the city centre and other towns. low traffic noise despite being near the main road. plenty of visitor parking and good bin collections

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

yes, but slow replies and after the initial move in date, they just push away all responsibilities

Wished i got more information on the specifics of paint colours and bought replacement parts which are hard to source now

This is a lovely area, feels like you are surrounded by the countryside, loads of nice walks but it also a short drive to the city so you're not too far away

I mentioned my lock was not working properly however this was fixed

Wish I was told the council tax of the area and if my garden was a south faced garden
