Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Impossible to contact, they always fail to follow things up. Site maintenance is a disgrace and the site is a mess and filthy

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They haven’t, things are still outstanding. This is disappointing

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Size of the bath is very very small. Not fit for purpose

Lot of snags that are still to be fixed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a lovely pub over the road and some nice little shops, good links to the motorway but very busy road and people do not stick to the speed limit.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Slow to respond but could be due to covid, had some rude workmen.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That a lot of the houses were going to be council houses we were unaware and lucky that we weren’t situated too close to any.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Regular transport to durham city centre , very close to a local schools and shops . Walking distance from local Italian restaurant. Just off the A1m so perfect for those who travel this road to and from work by car . Sufficient parking for tenants, quiet street with next to none anti- social behaviour .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The council tax bands are very high for properties

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is amazing since it’s near the A1 so easy access to Newcastle, Darlington etc. Durham is only a 12 minute drive away. Parking is a bit of an issue in the estate though.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes we had an issue with our bath leaking but they came out and resealed. Few issues regarding the walls but they came out to sort it out along with our back doors had a scratch but got replaced within a few days

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Write a list of any issues with the house when moving in so they can all get sorted at once.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, right next to A1 and very close to city centre. Local convenience store across the road and a co op is a 10 minute drive up the road. There is a pub straight across the road with good food.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They deal with problems eventually when pushed too. Sometimes they try to dispute the issue even when they are at fault.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are a lot of cars in this estate. Most people have 2 cars per household even though their drive only fits one so therefore there is a lot of street parking. Can be irritating when trying to manoeuvre around estate or on/off your own drive if someone parks opposite
