Most of the shops, restaurant, bars are just few mins away. Buses are frequently there and it takes hardly 10-15 mins to reach the town centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most of the issues were fixed. Some of them aren’t

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We put the fencing through the builder and it was quite expensive. Didn’t know that it would be cheaper if we have approached someone from outside

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of our home is very near to shops and takeaways which is handy. We also aren't far from the A19 which makes commuting easy. There are also many schools in the area, which will be of use soon when our little one starts primary school.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven't had any issues that we have had to report.

Good: Local shops,School, Location, field/open space, neighbourhood. Bad: local pub/bar/restaurants, parking, no play park,

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Emailed with issues about the property waited weeks without any contact and then suddenly someone showed up randomly to fix.

That they were going to leave a chimney breast underneath the middle of my garden

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Highfield Park has kept the original streets of the old housing estate that was here before. We have been lucky to have bought a house on a large plot so we have a large garden for a new built house. The house itself is quite spacious, it’s warm and has a good quality kitchen and bathroom. The downside is the walls are extremely thin which means we can hear noise from our sons in their bedrooms even though they are not being particularly noisy. Also having to use special wall plugs when hanging anything as ordinary plugs will not do. The street is great with a mixture of young families and older residents. There is a lot of green space around the area and some local shops and takeaways nearby. We don’t have a local pub within walking distance but I guess you cannot have everything. There are some supermarkets a short drive away. We have no parking issues or anti-social behaviour problems. Bin collection is regular. We also have 20mph speed limit which is safer for children who play outside.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not had to raise any problems with management but they have been helpful with questions regarding location of drains and possibility of extension building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We feel very safe and secure in our home. The neighbourhood is friendly. These are things you hope for but until you move in you just don’t know how it’s going to be.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Surrounding areas are poor. Nusiance motor bikes on local park and streets. Close to local shops. Transport easy to get if needed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes any snags that we highlighted to them got looked at and fixed. No problems

Should of gone for a larger house style Too small for a family.
