Good: very close to the East Village and Westfield, so there are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, parks, etc. Very lively, very young Bad: industrial estates still surrounding the area, they are very noisy. Still dangerous people going around, coming from old Stratford
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
almost impossible to reach and any issue you have to solve it yourself, basically
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Paying 60/40 mortgage/rent i think also the maintenance of the flat should be split the same way, while it's 100% purchaser responsibility according to L&Q. Easy example: electrician, pest control, plumber all paid by us, no refund, no part reimburse, and they all jobs around 200/300£

Gym is full, so glad new one is coming. Another supermarket would also be beneficial.

Royal Mail pick up is a long way away to collect parcels. Even though a mail box store is down the road.

Next to westfield so all the shops you need. Can be a nightmare most times so go during quieter hours if you can. The tube station is a bit of a nightmare. No flow control so you are always battling people crisscrossing in front of you.

Get the flat professional snagged if you can. Worth the investment.
