I had an amazing stay at Arches Apartment in the heart of Leicester. The location couldn't be any better

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They helped me when i needed help. It was nice of them

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That it is going to be cold, but I loved it anyway.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The noise from the student building next door can be problematic at times, but noise can be an issue anywhere.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So far, all of the issues I've had have been dealt with in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The student building next door can be very noisy and loud.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is very quiet, with a convenience store only a few steps away. If you want anything more specific you’ll need to go to the centre- but that’s only 15 minute walk away! The location is perfect if you want to be close to the centre but without the noise and bustle.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been friendly, understanding and efficient

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Good thing- how easy it is to get help if it’s needed. It almost feels like I’m living in a hotel. Bad (sorta ?)- they make use of key cards so I’m always a bit worried if loosing it more than a key.

Living at The Arches in Leicester has been a fantastic experience. The local area offers a great range of shops, restaurants, and bars, catering to a variety of tastes and needs, with Londis being 100 yards away from the facility. For open spaces, there are parks nearby for relaxation and outdoor activities, adding to the charm of the neighborhood. Transport links are very convenient, with regular buses and easy access to train services. I haven’t experienced any issues with transport; everything feels well-connected, making commuting or traveling around Leicester hassle-free. The street itself is calm and well-maintained, with ample parking availability for residents. Bin collections are timely and organized, which keeps the area clean. Anti-social behavior or traffic noise has never been a concern, making it a peaceful and enjoyable place to live. I’d highly recommend it!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management at The Arches has been incredibly responsive and professional whenever I’ve raised any issues. They address concerns promptly, whether it’s maintenance requests or general inquiries. Communication is clear and efficient, and they always ensure problems are resolved to a high standard. Their proactive approach makes living here stress-free and shows they genuinely care about the residents’ experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how well-insulated the apartments are. While this is generally a positive, it can make the space quite warm during summer months. It would have been helpful to plan ahead with additional cooling solutions like fans. Additionally, knowing more about the community vibe and quiet nature of the area would have reassured me even more before moving in—it’s truly a peaceful place to live!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This location is very near to Leicester city centre. Very close to Castle Mead Academy secondary school, St.Margeret's Bus station, High cross shopping centre, Tesco super store, etc.,Easy access to parks, lakes, leisure centre, public transport and many more entertainment options. Very safe and lovely neighbourhood especially for families.

Management addresses our major issues very quickly.

Please check if the apartment offers designated parking space and is there any additional charges for parking. Because parking spaces here are in first come first serve basis.
