There is good proximity to transports links but it’s a really busy place. There’s not a lot of variety of shops, restaurants or bars for example.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Asam’s promptness to reply to any queries is incredible. He is a great building manager!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That’s the lifts are so slow and that the loading bay it’s not actually a loading bay but more a car park.

The good thing is that it is directly next to the Elizabeth line which is very convenient, the bad thing would be the area itself.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were very prompt and made sure problems were solved.

How the bills worked exactly, and the options of working them out.

Easy access to central but the area can get loud during south Asian festival/weddings Also some good food spots

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They usually respond quick but are quite slow to actually resolve issues - such as broken front door etc

I wish I had known about the karaoke or dining room booking system

Uncle Apartments in Southall offer a modern and convenient living experience, with a good range of local shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. The area is vibrant, with diverse dining options reflecting Southall's multicultural community, especially known for its South Asian cuisine. There are open spaces like Southall Park and nearby canals for leisure. Transport links are convenient, with Southall Station offering direct trains to central London and Heathrow. However, congestion can be an issue, especially during peak hours. Parking availability can be limited, as is common in urban areas, and traffic noise might be a factor due to the busy surrounding roads. Bin collections are generally reliable, and the street feels safe, although like any busy area, occasional noise and anti-social behavior may occur. Overall, it's a lively and well-connected place to live, with modern amenities and a sense of community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Management at Uncle Apartments is responsive, resolving most issues quickly, though some maintenance requests may take longer.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd known about the limited parking and occasional traffic noise. Opt for a higher floor if you're noise-sensitive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Best thing about the location is the Southall station that connects you to Heathrow, central and east London. The management and customer service staff are very friendly and helpful. Been here for a month, no problems so far in terms of bins, noise and anti social behaviour. Southall as an area is very diverse and the food options are plentiful. Nice people all around. The local cuisine has got me hooked to Pani Puri. A few dodgy people here and there in the surrounding location, but you'll find this in every area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Haven't really had any issues so far that would be raised to management. I'm sure if I have they would be attentive and quick with their response.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew beforehand there isn't really any big supermarket chains like Asda, Tesco etc within walking distance so you'd have to travel by bus or shop in local businesses (to be fair, they can be better than Asda).
