Most of the apartments has no opening windows, AC bill is hefty.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a bit of a walk in a pathway to get to the station. Additionally, there are not many options for local shops around. The development is close to a massive roundabout, and crossing is only possible through subways. Parking is pretty expensive and street parking is very limited.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The AC bills would be stupidly expensive with crazy fees and kWh price. You have to provide your tenancy agreement to the concierge so they can add you to the building system. That the windows don't open and the ventilation system fails quite often. You have to apply yourself for your pet licence.

What is the best feature of your home:

Facilities and having a concierge desk. The apartment is comfortable.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

- Very close to the subway throughout Hanger Lane station and other exit, there were so many drunk guys stayed there, piss, and grass, stinky, odor filled the subway.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No response and no intent to address it. Only do what they want to do.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Because of people's attitude and initiative, that's nothing to do.

A lot of money for for basic living

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Parking available but will cost you £3000 per year. Street is quiet but it’s off a massively busy and dangerous ring road. Hanger lane tube is close by but the subway and walk is dangerous as there are antisocial people hanging around. This is being addressed with authorities though. No open spaces - the only one we have is a dog toilet. Lovely. Shops and food outlets are close but super basic and nothing of interest to me personally, also you have to brave the subway and ring road. Bus stops nearby Ealing broadway is annoying to get to via tube as you have to change Bus access to Ealing broadway.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building manger seems to get stuff done, him and his team are great. Just the actual estate agents aren’t great. Life have No professionalism.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lack of soundproofing is massive!!! I would like to have been able to choose the studio I saw on the internet as the property I chose, not one they wanted to give me.

Good but disappointing

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I was one of the first tenants to live in Westgate house and left after 12 months tenancy. Good aspects : Hanger Lane station only 5 min walk away. Sky lounge is good, gym is very decent, sauna/steam room is good although I haven’t used it much and cinema was good when

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

+++ Aftercare team (the lady downstairs) is always nice and helpful. - - - Management and concierge are clueless whenever an issue raises. Bikes were stolen and they tried to hide it. There is also a thug shattering peoples cars every week or so and nothing has ever been done in many months about it. Landlord increased rent by over 30% after a 12 months tenancy and took money from my deposit through LifeResidential agency, I disputed it but they have been repeating that “they haven’t heard from landlord yet” and never sorted it out.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not many shops around, food options are very limited. Management is most of the time useless (aftercare team is great though). I felt unsafe more than once and management didn’t really do much to improve safety of residents.

Great development

Anastasia (Tenant)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is quite calm, there are not many shops or restaurants here (except for a big Sainsbury’s supermarket 15 minutes away). Hanger Lane station is just 5 minutes away. Ealing Broadway and White City are not too far away which is nice if you want to go to more lively areas.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had a few issues with the boiler and the hob but the management fixed everything very promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing I wasn’t aware of. However, checking if your boiler works before moving in might be a good idea.
