Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love living in this outskirt of Wingate. I am ideally located at the old rail line which is a beautiful walk way, with routes to sunderland and Hartlepool, its a fantastoc walk/cycle/run environment. The estate os lovely and neighbours are friendly. Ive lived here for almost 4 years now and we hav eno trouble or crime around. The house itself is perfect for our family. Although my shared driveway can be a nightmare. That is the onyl downfall I have.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In a timely fashion and with professionalism and very friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the shared driveway would be so tight. It is meant to fit 4 cars, however, the cars must park on a angle to each other to be able tto open the doors of both cars. Therefore you can not park 4 there together.

The village of Wingate is a short walk away and has good local businesses for most of your requirements. There are 2 pubs in the village and within a 20 minute walk there are a few more village pubs. Transport links are good as you are near the a19 in one direction and close to the a1 in another, Durham train station is a 10 minute drive away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The initial snagging was carried out within a reasonable timescale, but roads, landscaping etc has not been finalised well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wished I had known about the finishing touches to the estate before moving in and was not told that another developer would be building out the back of my property.

The development is close to the a19 and Durham Sunderland . The estate roads are terrible and need looking at now . The street lighting to shocking .

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes it has taken a long time for this to be sorted and we are still 6 months in getting there

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would of been nice to have kniwen that work was going to take place on the sewers on the development

Good location to getting to the A19 - parking is terrible, roads to narrow and still waiting on completion of the roads

Wish I would of known how long the roads would have taken to be completed

Local amenities near by, transport links ok but could be improved to some areas Parking available but roads have not been finished

I haven't raised many photos but the property developers have always been happy to help the best they can when needed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had checked more transport links as I don't currently drive and the buses aren't always reliable
