Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good: The transportation links here are phenomenal. Even though you're a bit further out from Central London, to travel in is about 20 minutes and all the main stations are on the Victoria line (King's Cross, Euston, Victoria, etc). Additionally, in the area there are the beautiful wetlands to walk around in, great little independent shops (make sure to visit Nourished Communities), and more. The bad: There really isn't anything bad except that it is important to keep in mind that the area is still up and coming and therefore, there are maybe not as many restaurants/cafes/bars in the local area as you would get in Central for example. However, don't let this stop you from moving here as things are opening all the time!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The amount or problems/issues we've encountered here are slim as they really keep the flats in top-notch shape as well as are relatively new as is. However, whenever we have had even minor issues, the building management staff have handled it right away and to an exceptionally high standard. It feels like they care just as much about the quality and longevity of the flat as we do!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How amazing the staff would be and how hard it is to imagine leaving here! If it wasn't for external circumstances forcing us to relocate, I think we could imagine ourselves living here for years to come.

Amazing location. So nice to have the wetlands and there’s lots of peace & quiet. It’s a lot easier to get into central than I thought it would. Only negative is it’s sometimes a bit dangerous around the tube station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always happy to help and change things in the flat for you

The community is welcoming and friendly, creating a sense of belonging. Property prices and rents are relatively high, which can be challenging for some residents.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Kul and Tiffiny made my apartment transfer smooth and hassle-free. Tiffiny is always in the office, ready to assist with any questions, and does so with a big smile on her face, making the experience even better."

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the parking situation, as spaces can be limited during peak times. Also, the soundproofing between apartments is not as strong as expected. On a positive note, I didn’t realize how vibrant and friendly the community would be, which has been a wonderful surprise

I am very happy with my experience here at Blackhorse mills. I was very impressed when I was shown around in my visit with Kristian. He was polite and professional during our visit and made the tour of the property very pleasant. The process to rent the apartment was made fast and smooth by the admin team and 10 days later I moved into my apartment. I couldn’t be more pleased with how easy the process has been and how welcome I feel here!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues. Everything has gone smoothly and I am very happy

How great the community was going to be! Everyone living here is friendly, will engage in polite chitchat and makes you feel very welcome!

BHM - renting was never this classy

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Traffic noise is there if you’re facing Ferry Lane. Walking our dogs in this area is lovely. Bars such as Harry’s and Big Penny Social are alluring to us. Many alternatives for grocery shopping around or not far away. Missing stylish restaurants, but otherwise its a great area just 15mins away from Z1.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance easy tasks are quickly fixed and management is on top of issues when they arise, although some of them take longer than expected to resolve without using drastic criteria. Wifi and lifts are ciritical and management needs to give priority to this now.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When I got here I wished BHM had a schedule system to book the rooms at the mezzanine. Otherwise all the info is provided and I was not missing anything - expect for the way to completely open the windows of your flat.
