Modern Living with Exceptional Facilities and Thoughtful Design

Jason D (Tenant)

The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Almere, offers a good variety of local shops, restaurants, and bars, catering to most daily needs Note: there’s a huge sainsbury within 3 mins walking distance. Many nearby restaurants providing diverse dining options all within walking distance and loads of options if you have a car. Open spaces like Willen Lake and Campbell Park are nearby and excellent for outdoor activities. Transport links are convenient, with good access to buses, and Milton Keynes Central Station is a 3 min drive or a 20 min walk honestly it provides quick connections to London and Birmingham. However, some areas face limited evening bus services. There’s ample parking availability and best of all they have underground parking which I was first to opt in for and I was lucky to get a space as there’s a waiting list. There’s regular bin collections. Anti-social behavior and traffic noise are minimal, making it a very peaceful place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quick to answer my queries most of the time within a few hours if not on the spot.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything was as expected since the staff were extremely transparent with us. No hidden fees nothing. I was aware of everything related with my move in and the flat and the building itself. The staff answered all my questions and even gave me more information. Very helpful.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good commute, close to shopping centre. Great access to nearby restaurants, all good cuisine and quality. Great parking spaces and very close to a good gym and leisure centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Good and fast response, any issue fixed within the day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Could have been great (but not necessary) to have a guide to any shops, restaurants or activities nearby recommended by the building. Otherwise, all instructions were clear, no surprises.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are near loads of great chain restaurants as well as Milton Keynes specific restaurants as well as other great places like places to get massages. Additionally, The Almere is opposite to a big Sainsbury’s making weekly shopping incredibly easy. The downside is the parking. With a council permit we are not as near the building as we would like to be which is slightly inconvenient

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues at times have been dealt with slower than we would like but no longer than an acceptable waiting time which is good

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known just how many amazing perks were in The Almere. The communal spaces are really well equipped with study rooms, games, tv screens, a kitchen. Additionally access to exercise and social activities creates a great community vibe.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very central to all the amenities, very happy with the range of online offers and close to train station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Was really fast, we reported some issues in the flat, in 1 day had everything sorted.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The underground parking could be more spacious, nothing else to add.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

fantastic area... i love running and the footpaths are so good you never have to wait to cross busy roads. parking is phenomenal with a £25 per year council permit available quickly online and hundreds of spaces to choose from. there are some fab restaurants nearby, and a massive sainsburys is 2 minutes on foot from the front door. also

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

haven't had any yet as only been there for a short while

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the bills are more expensive than i thought they would be
