Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
More retail stores are opening. The DLR is the main transport link which has been regularly closed on weekends but new trains are coming! There are a number of bus routes nearby. Close to large Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco supermarkets as well as Gallions Reach shopping park.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When repairs have been needed, they have been completed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The guest parking here is really limited and the waiting list for a parking space as a resident is really long!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
In terms of shops and restaurants, there isn’t much. You have to take the bus or dlr to find any meaningful shops or restaurants. Although there is a small coop an 8 minute walk away. Transport links are also an 8-9 min walk, it would be good if there was a closer bus stop at least. In terms of parking, it’s not great. It’s seems to be quite hard to get a parking spot although there seems so be some available. There’s also very limited paid parking spots which are often occupied. This makes it difficult when you have visitors. It would be nice to have more parking options available. The area is very well maintained and very clean. Bins are emptied often and there is little anti social behaviour or noise (apart from the planes). The development provides such great views of the water and a path which makes it possible to run/walk along it.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been very responsive for me. There are a number of ways to raise any issues or problems you’re having and they have always been responsive and issues have been fixed in a timely manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I’ve found that I didn’t really take note of before is just the lack of amenities around. Mostly I have to get on a bus or dlr to get to shops or restaurants and even the distance to the bus stops and dlr is sometimes an inconvenience.

I have nothing bad to say about the area, everyone is lovely and is well connected. Not too many shops in walking distance but no complaints
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They haven’t replied to any query I have had. Nothing gets fixed
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That management don’t reply and any issues you will have to deal with yourself

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good: The flats are modern, well insulated, and have a great view of the Thames. Bad: There isn't enough parking for residents, the gardens aren't frequently maintained, and there are always some shady people hanging around at night. The flat is also located on the City Airport flight path - it's not that noticeable when windows and doors are closed but can be noisy when you've got windows open. There aren't many amenities around - there's a convenience shop and a Coop (which is not the most affordable option). The nearest shopping park is about a 20-minute walk away but it's a bit out of the way in an area that's not built up. New shops have been opening up recently and there's also a nursery so hopefully, things will be better soon. As expected, dealing with property management is a nightmare. And though the DLR is reliable during weekdays, for the last 18 months, it's been inconsistent on the weekends because of railworks. If the DLR happens to be out of commission, it is EXTREMELY difficult to get anywhere.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have responded to repairs for locks and door handles promptly but only because I go straight to the office on site rather than emailing them. My other issue took 6 months to resolve because the people in the office clearly don't communicate with each other. And unless you're prepared to go to the office every day, you don't get speedy replies.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew that going anywhere would be difficult if the DLR isn't running. It's a pain to go anywhere on the weekends when it's down. And if it happens to be raining, you end up waiting 20 minutes for Uber to not find you a driver.

Beautiful area to live in! So peaceful with some incredible views. Perfect place to live if you love going on walks by the riverside. Friendly community. Lots of parks and good transport links! Only challenge is whether your building has enough underground parking because there is not much street parking.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very well overall we needed a door handle repaired and someone came to fix overall day to day building and property management has been good. Just lease renewal that was awful.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The views are stunning but parking is a challenge.
