Design of the building is lovely

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Amazing range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pub as well as amazing facilities such as the gym & pool. However, the gym is always super busy and the pool/ spa facilities are always breaking/ closed therefore I hardly use it because of this. There's been an increase of targeted crime in the area i.e. post theft/ phone theft which hasn't been the nicest part of the last year.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they have, they were very prompt initially, but over the last year or so this has slowed down significantly therefore takes a few weeks to fix.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew how busy the gym was/ the pool & spa facilities not working regularly - the area is always sold with these facilities in mind but fail to tell you that actually they're not a bonus.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Exactly as advertised originally to me. There is very little antiscoail behaviour and some good locals

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had very few issues however they have all been responded to

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The transport - always look up the length of your commute!

Up and coming but poor development managers

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really good up and coming vibrant area but Ballymore are awful for assisting in building security and upkeep which is a shame. Great amount of shops coming into the area but could do with another supermarket

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very slow since we moved to a different building and poorly managed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Overkill in price increases and that our view would disappear

Great location but could be improved

Joshua B (Tenant)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good mix of food outlets and amenities in the area. The only issue is a very small Sainsbury’s for the size of the development

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Great local cafe in triple 2

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Better build quality and security - far to many thefts in the area and constant poor build quality leads to the same things being dug up and re done

Manager response

Dear Joshua, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Royal Wharf, we will take on all your valued points raised and will use these to ensure that we continue to improve the service. Royal Wharf has CCTV cameras across the whole of the development, with 24-hour recording and cover by a team of security staff based at the management centre, any evidence found is relayed directly to the local police and this has resulted in 3 convictions, which has resulted in lower crime numbers. As with any new development, there can be some teething issues that we will continue to communicate with the construction teams. Thank you once again for your valued feedback and if you have any further feedback please feel free to contact the Residential Services Manager. Best regards, Phillip Minns Resort Director Royal Wharf
